Odd's Mods

This page is intended to give a linked list of Fallout 4 and Skyrim game modifications I've created for players to enjoy. This is not a page to make personal requests and neither are any of my mod pages. Please use the Mods and Requests forum at Bethesda.net for that.

NOTE: I will not commit to a date for release of anything because I never want to disappoint anyone. Mods are complete when they are complete, and if I cannot get one to work how I want it to, it will not be published. Plans change and life happens, so what is listed in Future Projects is simply to show what I want to do eventually, and I have some form of it on my hard drive. Even what is listed in Current Projects is subject to change.

I do not keep up with how many downloads any mod has or what the rating is. I find them useless. If you enjoy my stuff, then I'm glad I've been able to help or make your play through more enjoyable. Thank you for downloading. If you don't enjoy my stuff, there are thousands of other mods for you to enjoy. I hope you find some you like.

Thank you to those who have been encouraging and helping me to learn, giving me feedback, and providing a sounding board. Just talking and socializing is more helpful than you know.

Thank you to Bethesda for creating a fun game for me to want to play and mod and providing an editor and support to do so.

This is what's currently available for download. All mods are complete. However, if anyone finds an issue with one, please let me know on the mod page so I can fix it or troubleshoot the issue with you.

I prefer to find ways to avoid conflicts with other mods, to enhance mods I enjoy, to fill niches, to design levels, or to improve quality of life while playing. I love animals and run a mini farm/homestead so many of my mods and settlements are themed towards those things. I'm horrible at naming things, so a brief description of what the mod does is provided. Please read each mod page carefully prior to download. I do not support removal of any mod during a play through.

This series features quality of life modifications. Most feature .ini file edits and cannot be made available to PS4 users.

[Xbox One]

Ugh. Keys.  - Sorts keys and passcards for use with DEF_UI rollups so that you can have your keys sorted on the DEF_UI keyring and not worry about junk conflicts with Workshop Rearranged, unlike other sorters that touch everything under the sun.

Ugh. God Rays.  - Removes god rays via ini edit so that the pixelated ugliness is gone for screenarchery. (NOT for use with weather mods.)
Ugh. God Rays, Jr.  - Removes god rays and lens flare via ini edit so that the pixelated ugliness is gone and Codsworth doesn't blind you when using Live Action Handy. (NOT for use with weather mods. Causes blackout or weirdness with certain lighting mods, test prior to committing to a save.)
Ugh. Lens Flare. - Removes lens flare via ini edit. Created for use with Live Action Handy so that players can also use a weather mod and not be blinded by Codsworth. (Causes blackout or weirdness with certain lighting mods, test prior to committing to a save.)
(Note: I no longer have these files. These were made on my old laptop.)

Ugh. Deliverer.  - Adds a new gun made out of an old favorite to the level lists via script. Made upon request. Decided weapon mods are not my thing and will not be making any more unless it's for a quest reward.
Ugh. Death.  - Tweaks ragdoll animation data via ini edit. Results of tests on Xbox were interesting enough to publish for others to try.

Ugh. Radstorm. -  Constant Radstorm in the Commonwealth, Far Harbor, and Nuka World. Nothing fancy, just all default Radstorms, all the time. Created by request.

Default Plus: Open Carry Scavengers  - Unofficial patch to the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch to allow scavengers to open carry while searching for supplies. Made by request.

DEF_UI HUD preset  - The first one.
DEF_UI HUD preset the second - The second one. (I derped and did not realize I hadn't published this until I was compiling links for this thread.)
DEF_UI HUD preset Olioster's Preset  - Another one. Made by Olioster and uploaded by me when they were unable to.
(Note: I no longer have these files. They were made on my old laptop.)

Pipe Gun 5mm Receiver  - made by request by an individual who had collected too much 5mm and needed a way to make it pew pew to fit with their lore. Released as a modders' resource in the event of patching. Info for GetFormFromFile script available in mod description.
Gloveless Wonder: The General's Coat  - made by request of an individual whose General had synth hands. Scripted level list and inventory injection.

[Both Consoles]

I do not have the PS4 copy of the game. They work fine on Xbox. PS4 users, use a test character prior to committing to a save.
Kitty Galore - Craftable Cat Idle Objects - What it says on the tin. XB1 | PS4
Odd's Default Settlers - "American" Names - Renames each default settler with first and last names based on an online random generator. Made for use with Simple SettlersXB1  | PS4
Ugh. Patience.  (XB1) - Workshop scrolling is set to just over ridiculous speed via ini edit and terminal display loading is set to ludicrous speed via hard edit on the plugin. For those not using USO.
Ugh. Patience.  (PS4) - Terminal display speed is set to ludicrous speed. The ini edit is not possible. Ported by request.
Ugh. Doors. ...And Things. - Settlement doors and activators that look like doors for decorative use in settlements. Working decon shower. Made for Werty Perty so he'd finish his awesome Vault 88 cave on PS4.  Shower included so people would be interested and go see Werty's Vault when he finished it. :P XB1  | PS4
Ugh. Vendor Rugs. - Just rugs with animations for you to place where ever you want, no bells, no whistles. SMM required though for its own menu. Had too much in my stores menu so you might too. XB1  | PS4

Valentine's New Clothes - Gives Nick his own set of detective clothing from Creation Club: Noir Apartment (which is a required dependency). XB1 Unscripted  | XB1 Scripted  PS4

Best Dog Ever Series

Dedicated to our beloved, four-legged loved ones who were lost.
This is series of Dogmeat renamers that are dedicated to lost dogs. The names are taken from requests made on the Bethesda.net Community Mods and Requests forum. It started with a request by someone who lost their dog and wanted Dogmeat renamed to his lost pup.

Zues (yes, that is spelled correctly) - XB1  | PS4  | PC
Odie - XB1  | PS4
Olly - XB1
Daisy Rose - XB1  | PS4
Anubis - XB1  | PS4
Nikitamax (this individual had two who passed; their names were combined for him) - XB1  | PS4
Flower - XB1
Note: I stopped making these because after only a few, people were being rude and posting requests on someone else's dedicated page to their lost family member, and because, at the time, my old computer took thirty minutes to open the Creation Kit and I could not run FO4 from it to test things quickly or take pictures. I would have tolerated the mind-numbing slowness of my computer and continued to make them were it not for the total lack of respect to and consideration of other people's loss.
I no longer have these files. They were made with my old laptop.

More Immersive Quest Start - Dogs (Creation Club)

These mods add quest triggers near the dogs' locations to start each quest instead of spamming quest starts after you leave the vault. They were created by ChibiCD of Fallout 4 Nexus Mods and uploaded for consoles by me with permission.
PS4 versions are provided; however, I do not have a way to test them as I do not own a copy of Fallout 4 on PS4. They work fine on PC and Xbox.
Border Collie XB1  | PS4
Boxer XB1  | PS4
Dalmatian XB1  | PS4
Golden Retriever XB1  | PS4
Great Dane XB1  | PS4
Husky XB1  | PS4
Lab, Black XB1  | PS4
Lab, Chocolate XB1  | PS4
